The Northeast Region Signs a New Client

JACKSONVILLE, FL (December 4, 2019) – The World Golf Village office of Vesta’s Northeast region is excited to announce a new client with a rich history. The John Gorrie is a condominium community of 68 units located in Downtown Jacksonville just a few minutes from our Corporate Jacksonville office. The 68 residences range from studios to two-story townhomes and boast Palladian windows, soaring ceilings, and exposed interior brick walls. The building houses a contemporary fitness center, elevators, a resident library, private courtyard, and gated parking.

About the John Gorrie

The building was formerly a Junior High School which closed its doors in 1997 and remained empty for over a decade. It was purchased by former Jaguars owners & local philanthropists, J. Wayne and Delores Barr Weaver in 2009. Mrs. Weaver designed much of the interior, lending much of the plans to the building’s history and former school components. Located conveniently near downtown Jacksonville, this condominium complex gives you access to the best of Jacksonville’s dining and shopping. Amenities include a fitness center, resident library, private courtyard and gated parking.
