JACKSONVILLE, November 21, 2022 – Vesta Property Services’ Regional President Ginger Anzalone, recently received the International Council on Active Aging® (ICAA) NuStep Pinnacle Award. This award is given to the top five CEOs or Presidents that prioritize creating a wellness focused culture in senior living and community centers. Anzalone has made an impact through prioritizing wellness to create a high quality of living for residents of Kings Point Sun City Center.
“The Pinnacle award was such a surprise and very gratifying to receive considering the extraordinary peer group,” said Anzalone. “After spending the majority of my life championing the cause of an engaged lifestyle for active adults (which was long before the word ‘wellness’ was a trendy term), it is gratifying to see the evolution that has taken place and the programs/offerings we have in our communities today have become commonplace.”
Vesta Property Services was a prior award winner in 2019, when they received the “Beacon Award” for Top 25 “Best in Wellness” senior living communities in North America for their work at Kings Point Sun City Center. In 2022, the prestigious Pinnacle Award was expanded to include CEOs and Presidents as a category that now recognizes the success and contributions of the leaders in this field.
“Many of us began our careers in the fitness industry,” Anzalone continued. “However, over the past decades, the vision then broadened to consider the ‘whole person’ and provide programs and services that empower residents to pursue their own wellness journey though not only the physical, but the intellectual, spiritual, social, emotional, vocational and environmental dimensions. It is a thrill to be recognized with this achievement award but none of this could have happened without the support of the team who also believed in our mission, the residents who participated in everything we put out there and the leadership who allowed us the freedom to continue to grow these amenities. It has been an extraordinary journey.”
